My ticket IN!
So on this past Valentine's Day I had the pleasure of attending the Marc by Marc Jacobs Show in NYC. It was quite the departure from the main line's whimsical set and looks on Monday(set designed by Rachel Feinstein). cheerleader variety). For Fall 2012, the designer focused on two of his more classic
references — grunge and military — and worked them into laid-back
schoolgirl silhouettes.
All in all, the Marc by Marc devotee should find plenty to lust after for fall. I
especially liked a bright red sweatsuit look (and matching lips)–and kind of wanted to be
wearing it as soon as I saw it. Soft fluid pants! And loved that I spotted at least four looks with my current season obsession- curly lamb fur coats and flat "boy boots". I felt right at home and was even snapped by the Vogue Black(Italian ed.). Will share that pic as soon as its up...
And this is what I wore:
Peplum top and Leather paneled mini skirt: H+M, Lamb Fur coat- thrifted.
